Michael Vertolli A Featured Presenter At ISC Solutions Conference
New York City, NY- Michael Vertolli, President & CEO of ComTec Systems, Inc. headquartered in Vineland, NJ was a featured presenter at the recent ISC Solutions conference held at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. Michael co-presented a session entitled “Anatomy of a Long Term Solution: Designing Integrated IP Video Systems for Large Housing Authorities.” Michael was pleased to offer the session alongside Herb Brown, Executive Director of Trenton Housing Authority and Maureen Bruen of Honeywell International.
The 45 minute session was open to all attendees and exhibitors of the conference and was held in an open forum on the trade show floor. Michael was contacted by Honeywell’s media firm Weber-Shandwick about the opportunity to participate in one of the sessions and explain how the security solution for Trenton Housing Authority came to fruition. The state-of- the-art security solution was the brainchild of the former Executive Director, Wayne Lartigue who passed away in August of 2009. The project has since been expanded by Herb Brown who has increased the camera count and added access control to the doorways. The mission of the Trenton Housing Authority is to provide decent and affordable housing in a safe and secure living environment.
This symposium gave all three co-presenters a chance to discuss their role in the design of this solution and offer guidance to others who are contemplating a similar solution. At the close of the session was a question and answer period that allowed the audience to receive feedback on their own inquiries.
“ComTec has partnered with Honeywell to design and install security solutions throughout the Housing Authority campuses here in NJ and PA. We were thrilled to have had the opportunity to share our projects with others in the hopes that we can continue to help provide safe housing on these campuses. We value the relationships that we have with our customers & vendors and we were very pleased that Herb and Maureen were so accommodating,” stated Vertolli.
